Mt Coramba Downhill Course
Location: Bruxner park
Collaborators: Woolgoolga Mountain Bike Club.
In 2024, Trailnet had the privilege of rebuilding the iconic Mt. Coramba Downhill course — a project that was especially meaningful for the team, as it's where Josh’s downhill racing career began back in 2005. Working alongside the Woolgoolga Mountain Bike Club, we set out to preserve the raw, natural character of the original track while enhancing it with modern features. The trail now blends classic off-camber sections with machine-built berms, jumps, and flow elements to create a fast, technical, and exciting race track. The rebuild was completed in time for a local club test race, ahead of hosting a QLD State Downhill Round just months later. Rebuilding Mt Coramba was a full circle moment, and it was an honour to give back to the trail and community that first sparked Trailnets passion for the sport.
